Since its founding, AWRSAY has helped determined, resilient students pave the way for their futures. Our community driven organization gives Arvada, Edgewater or Wheat Ridge students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to support their educational or personal aspirations. Every scholarship awarded, every student recognized, and every story celebrated represents a young person who has demonstrated remarkable strength, determination, and perseverance.
We Do More Than Offer Scholarships
Providing financial assistance and mentoring opportunities for students is critical, but it’s only a small part of what we do at AWRSAY. The students we help work hard and face immense challenges with courage and perseverance. But, unfortunately, these qualities often go unrecognized or unappreciated. That’s why one of our main goals is to recognize and reward our students for their determination. By recognizing these students, we convey our appreciation for their resilience and strength, building their hope and confidence, and encouraging them to keep pursuing their educational and career goals. AWRSAY also offers a mentorship program to continue to guide students through their challenges and succeed.

AWRSAY can’t help students independently. We require close collaboration with educators, student nominators, volunteers, sponsors, donors, local businesses, and individuals who want to invest in future generations.
