From Recognition to Legacy

At AWRSAY, community involvement and contributions are essential to the educational and personal success of students. One of the ways to be involved is to participate in an AWRSAY fundraising event, or in our annual celebration of our recipients. These events are intended to support, uplift, and celebrate students who’ve overcome adversity and want to continue their education (12th graders), or pursue a activity to further a goal (attend a camp, learn to play an instrument, play a sport). If you’re a member or part of an organization in the Arvada and Wheat Ridge communities, we would love to provide you with more information about how you can get involved!

What Our Events Are For

The yearly events host serve two purposes. The first is to spread awareness about our mission and gain more partners, donors, volunteers, and support for it. The second is to honor all the students who’ve earned scholarships and personal development awards and have overcome adversity and hardship along the way. These events are critical to expanding our mission and creating more opportunities for students, both presently and in the future.

Our Upcoming Events and Celebrations

We host a few fundraising, donations, and celebratory events throughout the year. They are meant to acknowledge the hard work and perseverance of our current students and prepare future nominees for success. If you want to get involved, we invite you to attend the following events:

AWRSAY Recognition & Award Ceremony

During this event, students receive their AWRSAY Certificate of Recognition, and Congressional Certificate.

Our annual recognition ceremony is held in the spring of each year. Last year we recognized 110 deserving youth.

Get Involved With Our Mission

Whether you’re a donor, volunteer, educator, family member, or community supporter, your involvement helps create opportunities for students throughout Wheat Ridge and Arvada to be recognized, encouraged, and celebrated. Every contributionhelps make a meaningful difference in the lives of local students.

If you’d like to learn more about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you. Contact AWRSAY to explore how you or your organization can help support and inspire the next generation.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

AWRSAY is powered by people who believe every student deserves encouragement, opportunity, and a community that believes in them.
